Digitalt seminarium:

Digital seminar:
Participation in innovation - the creation of a local culture of innovation

We at Mötesplats Social Innovation, Malmö University and the Malmö Tillsammans project invite you to a conversation for those of you who want to learn with us about how we can work for social change in a long-term way.

The conversation will explore what conditions are needed to promote innovation as a culture, and how the public sector can support and create space for resident-driven community development and system transformation.

What can we do to ensure that more people are able and willing to participate in local development processes? What experiences are there of working in innovation platforms around the country, and what experiences are there around Europe in making use of what is generated in the processes - not just as individual and temporary products? What is perceived to contribute to long-term democratization and resource distribution in the form of increased personal and collective capacity, independence, sense of opportunity, participation and empowerment in innovation processes?

The first part of the seminar is in English and consists of two short presentations followed by a discussion in small breakout rooms between the participants. The second part is in Swedish and consists of two short presentations followed by a panel discussion where we explore lessons learned, local challenges and opportunities. There will be time to ask questions and participants are encouraged, during the discussion in the small breakout rooms, to turn on both camera and microphone.

The seminar will be conducted digitally via Zoom, partly in English and partly in Swedish. The Zoom link is included in your confirmation letter that is sent out upon your registration.
